Are you a BMFS fan with stories to share?

I’m Drew, a Chicago-based filmmaker, working on a documentary about fandom around BMFS — the people who follow the music, the culture and the community that surrounds it.

I’m looking to connect with some of the most dedicated fans. I’m in search of folks who:

  • Have been to multiple shows (especially if you’ve traveled for them),

  • Have a substantial collection of posters, merch, or show gear,

  • Are uniquely inspired by his music,

  • Create art, clothing or merchandise associated with the scene,

  • Play bluegrass music as a result of being inspired by his music,

  • And would be comfortable doing an on-camera interview to share your story and love for the scene (promise I will make this part fun and easy).

If you’ve traveled for shows, lived the lot life, or just have stories to tell — I’d love to connect. If it’s someone you know, please pass this along!

Have a story?

Share it here!

Whether it’s a legendary performace, a road trip to remember, or a piece of merch you’ll never let go, I want to hear it.

Big or small, every story adds to the tapestry — the songs, the miles, the moments. Just your name, email, and your story — that’s all it takes.
